I’m sorry, I know.
There has been a significant drop in blog posts in the last few months.
But there has been so much going on that I’m excited to tell you about through a number of blogs I intend to put out in the next couple of weeks.
So let’s make this one a general recap shall we?
CGA is over; I am a graduate now. (With a certificate and everything!) I plan to write more about what I learned in CGA and the experience as a whole but it will have to wait for another blog.
Worship Track (within CGA) concluded with a trip along the East Coast of the United States where we partnered with Burn 24/7, a ministry focused on bringing worship, intercession, and evangelism wherever they find themselves. I plan to write a blog specifically devoted to this trip as well but the short version is this: Worship and prayer are powerful and alive and, if you are looking, you can see the Lord moving in a city. We did.
So that’s a (very) brief look into the past several months, how about looking ahead to the next several? What’s the summer look like?
Great question!
I have accepted a part-time position with Adventures In Missions to essentially be an intern in the worship department over the summer. I will also be helping to recruit people for Worship Track for the Fall semester of CGA. And it is not a position I need to fundraise for! (I’m quite excited about this.)
I’ll also be filling my summer with a wedding (hey Dean and Cassy), and some painting. Not the artistic kind, the practical “make your house look nice” kind.
For you prayer warriors, I am also having conversations with a couple of churches about coming on staff part-time to help lead worship. So the prayer request is for clarity of direction and for favor in getting a job that I would truly love to have. My heart is for worship and I would love an opportunity to pursue that desire and to incorporate all the things I’ve learned these past eight months.
So there you have it, a very general overview of what has passed and what is upcoming in my life. If you have further questions (because this blog contains very few details) please ask them. I’d love to connect with you personally and tell you what’s going on in my life as I hear about what is happening in yours as well.
Be on the lookout for more blogs in the coming weeks and as always, thank you for all of your support as I journey with the Lord. I couldn’t do it without you.
